The strict scribe

Reading the colors

Green means the letter is in the word and in that exact place.

Yellow means the letter is in the word, but somewhere else. If a letter appears twice in your guess and only once in the word, only one copy is colored.

Gray means the letter is not in the word (or every copy of it is already marked).

Everyone gets the same word, which changes at midnight UTC each day. Your streak counts UTC days in a row with a solved word. Practice words afterwards never change your stats.
