Harvest, stock shelves and cook jam through a full two-minute shift. A rule can double berry prices or give customers more patience—plan your upgrades around it and chase three stars.

How to play

  1. Harvest berries or bread into your basket. Tap a matching customer to serve them; if the shelf needs more stock, the game adds it from your basket first. You can also stock shelves ahead of time.
  2. Spend 2 basket berries to cook a jar of jam. It takes 4 seconds at standard speed, moves into your basket when ready and sells for 6 shop coins.
  3. Lunch rush runs from 20 to 70 seconds, with faster arrivals and room for four waiting customers. Start checkout while a customer has at least half their patience left to earn a 1-coin tip under standard rules.
  4. Later arrivals may order two items or be in a hurry. A hurried customer has half the usual waiting time and pays 2 extra shop coins; check the order before serving.
  5. Spend earned shop coins on bigger baskets and shelves, faster production or quicker checkout. Keep a mix of berries, bread and jam ready for the next order.
  6. Play the full 120-second shift. At closing, 10 customers earn one star, 24 earn two and 34 earn three. Fewer than 10 means the shift is unfinished. Customers leaving early reduce your score but do not end the shift. After the result, Keep the shop open starts untimed practice.

Score and progress

What the AI challenge changes

A challenge locks one of six reviewed market conditions before opening. When AI responds, it writes the opening story and selects the condition. A local challenge uses the same list when AI is unavailable. Production, stock, purchases and customer orders still follow the local game rules.

Berry day
Berry sales earn 4 shop coins instead of 2. Bread and jam prices stay the same.
Quick harvest
All three production stations run at 1.25× standard speed before shop upgrades.
Happy hour
Customers wait 24 seconds instead of 16.
Bread fair
Bread sales earn 5 shop coins instead of 3. Berry and jam prices stay the same.
Big baskets
Baskets and shelves start with room for 9 items instead of 6, before upgrades.
Tip jar
Starting checkout while a customer has at least half their patience left earns a 3-coin tip instead of 1.

The displayed rule locks when you start. Classic mode needs no AI response, and a late response cannot change a run already in progress. If AI is unavailable, a clearly labeled local challenge keeps the game playable.

At closing, the result shows stars, tips and the selected condition, including actual bonus coins or changed production and patience values. An optional shift reflection uses recorded sales, coins, departed customers, duration and upgrade levels. If the reflection service is unavailable, the result uses a labeled local reflection.

Questions before you play

How does AI change Pocket Market?

AI can pick a condition such as berry sales at 4 game coins instead of 2, 25% faster production, or customers waiting 24 seconds instead of 16. Plan your harvests, shelves and upgrades around the active rule. At closing, check customers served, stars and game coins, with an AI or labeled local reflection. You can also try another local condition or Classic.
