FreeCell is the solitaire card game where every card is dealt face up, so almost every deal can be won with a good plan. The goal is to move all 52 cards to the four foundations at the top right, one pile per suit, building each one up from ace to king. All the cards start in eight cascades below.
In the cascades, build down in alternating colors: a red 7 goes on a black 8, a black 9 on a red 10. Each of the four free cells at the top left holds any one card. Any card can go to an empty cascade. You may move an ordered run of cards at once when there is room to do it one card at a time: with more free cells and empty cascades you can move longer runs.
Deals are numbered like the classic FreeCell that came with Windows, so Deal #1 here is the same Deal #1 you may remember. Pick any deal from 1 to 1,000,000, or play the daily deal, which is the same for everyone each day and has been checked by the game's solver. One famous deal, #11982, cannot be won at all.
Undo takes moves back one at a time, Hint shows a useful move, and a double tap or double click sends a card to its foundation. Cards that are safe to send home go there by themselves.
