THE ATTENDANT'S METHOD

Drive every carriage out of the lot.

Your set has not started. Reading this help will not start the clock.

  1. Read. Every carriage shows an arrow: up, down, left or right. It only ever drives that way.
  2. Tap. Click, tap or press Enter on a carriage. If nothing stands between it and the edge, it drives out of the lot.
  3. Roll up. If another carriage is in the way, the tapped one rolls forward until it touches it and stops. Sometimes that is exactly what frees a stuck lane; sometimes it blocks one for good.

Every tap is a move, even a honk when a carriage is already nose to nose. Each lot shows its par: the fewest moves the game's solver needs to clear it. Stars count your moves over par across the whole set: 2 or fewer for three stars, 6 or fewer for two, and finishing always earns one.

Each lot has one hint and three undos. A hint makes a carriage glow that starts a shortest way out from where you are. Undo takes back your last tap and its move. Restart lot puts every carriage back, but the moves you made on that lot still count. If no order of taps can clear the lot any more, the hint tells you so without using a hint.

A set is five lots that grow from 5×5 to 7×7. Time is recorded, but there is no clock to beat.

Classic rules unless you pick another with Change rules. A rule stays fixed for that set.
