Drop sliding stone slabs onto a tower. Only the overlap stays, perfect drops keep the width, and a stone golem wakes at 25, 50 and 100 layers.

How to play

  1. A stone slides back and forth at a steady speed above the top of your tower, turning around at each end. Drop it with a tap, a click or Space; one press drops one stone.
  2. Only the part of the stone that lands on the stone below stays. The overhang is sliced off and falls, so the next stone is exactly as wide as what remained.
  3. Land within 5 units of the stone below (the starting stone is 180 wide) for a Perfect: the stone snaps into place, keeps its full width and scores a bonus point. Every fourth Perfect in a row grows the stone back by 12 units, never wider than the tower started.
  4. Each new layer speeds the stone up a little, up to a top speed. The daily tower setup comes from the UTC date and the selected rule: every stone’s start side, small head start and slight speed difference are the same for everyone using that rule on that day, and Replay starts the same tower setup again.
  5. The tower ends when a stone misses the stone below completely. There is no clock, so pausing, opening help or leaving the tab never counts as a miss.
  6. At 25, 50 and 100 layers a part of the stone golem wakes: its legs, its body and finally its head. Score 20, 50 or 80 points for one, two or three stars. A Practice tower afterwards uses a random tower with the same rule and never changes your best.

Controls

Mouse or touch
Click or tap the tower to drop the sliding stone. Holding the button or your finger down never drops a second stone.
Keyboard
Space, Enter or Down drops. Holding the key does not repeat. P pauses and resumes.

Score and progress

Each stone that lands scores 1 point. A Perfect adds 1 bonus point, so a perfect stone is worth 2. A miss scores nothing and ends the tower. These are in-game points, not real money.

What the local challenge changes

A Local challenge locks one of three reviewed tower rules before the tower starts, rotating by UTC day. AI briefings and recaps are being prepared and are not available yet. Timing, slicing, the daily tower and scoring still follow the local game rules.

Wide Base
The tower starts 230 units wide instead of 180, and Perfect streaks can grow the stone back up to 230.
Slow Rise
Each new layer speeds the stone up half as much as a classic tower.
Perfect Echo
Every Perfect scores 2 bonus points instead of 1, so a perfect stone is worth 3.

The displayed local rule locks when you start. Local challenges and Classic need no AI response, and your skill decides the result.

At the end, the result shows stars, score, layers stacked, Perfect drops, the longest Perfect streak, the golem parts you woke and any actual Perfect Echo bonus points. A labeled Local reflection uses those recorded totals.

Questions before you play

What do Local challenges change in Golem Stack?

AI briefings and recaps are being prepared and are not available yet. Local challenges and Classic are free to play. A Local challenge locks one of three reviewed tower rules before you start: Wide Base starts the tower 50 units wider, Slow Rise makes each layer speed up half as much, and Perfect Echo scores two bonus points for every perfect stone instead of one. Timing, slicing and scoring stay on your device, and every stone's start side, head start and speed are the same for everyone using the same rule each UTC day. At the end, compare your score, layers, perfect streak and any actual challenge bonus, with a labeled Local reflection.

Do I need an account or download?

No. You can play for free in your browser with a tap, a click or the Space bar. Progress, best scores and the golem parts you have woken stay on your current device.
